Desperado Crash Mambo Combo. [Said without a hint of shame.] No one really uses the full name, anyway.

[He pulls out the salmon pink suit jacket and pulls it over his arms.]

Oh. [Well, okay then!] I can see why, that's a mouthful.

[Harvey turns away, climbing up onto a nearby platform to stand on one of the circular outlines. He gestures for Duster to join him.] This is the beaming thingy, it'll take us down.

[And once they're both up, he'll signal the computer. From their perspective, there's a brief period of electric white light, before they're standing in an alleyway in Chicago. Harvey's already a little more wary, being down here, but first he turns to make sure Duster took the trip okay.]

[One moment we has collecting his things, the next he was standing in the cold nighttime streets of Chicago. Thankfully, tonight isn't one of those winter nights where the temperature severely dropped out of nowhere, but it's colder than anything Duster's experienced on the Nowhere Islands.

He clutches onto his double bass to find his bearings after the teleportation before the cold sets in.]

Let's go. [To someplace warm.]

[Harvey chuckles.] Try Minnesota sometime, kid. C'mon.

[He leads the way out the alley and around the corner. It's been years since he's been here, but he still seems fairly at ease, even as he tugs his collar up around his face. They're close enough to the club anyway, it's no big deal.]

Just follow my lead. [He says as they enter. It's empty, this being the middle of the day and all, but he winds his way to the back and lets himself in.] Hey, Tom, you here?

Next time, let's pretend we're not from somewhere cold.

[As long as he doesn't go outside, he's sure he can keep up that cover story. He rushes in after Harvey and relaxes when yes, they do heat the inside of the building. Thanks god and the spirits for modern technology. The bass rolls on the metal stand behind Duster as he makes his way through the halls, eyeing the passageway to the main dining area.]

Man, it's been a while since I've last been to a real club. What's this one's specialty? The waitresses? The music? The food?

Music, mostly. The food was okay last time I was here, but you don't come to a place like this for that.

[No comment on the waitresses; there's enough turnover at a club like this, and he's been away long enough, that anything he has to say is probably out of date.

Tom's still here, though - he found that out before he came. Another man, maybe a few years older than Harvey, comes out of an office and greets him with a smile and a handshake.]

Hey, Finevoice! What brings you back into town?

Oh, y'know, nothin' much. Thought I'd stop by for old times' sake. This is Duster, the friend I was tellin' you about.

[Duster straightens up and drags the bass upright before walking over for a handshake..] Nice to meet you. Harvey and I are looking forward to playing here.

[He glances at Harvey before looking back at Tom.] It's my first time in Chicago.
